Sophie's Dream is a 501 (c) (3) tax-deductible non-profit dedicated to healing trauma and PTSD through the Arts. We are dedicated to heal trauma through non-drug methods that work. Helping those remap the brain through calming behaviors such as art techniques, artisan crafts, free community art classes and implementing nutritional healing along with high technologies such as virtual reality to aid those who have experienced trauma, PTSD, abuse and grief.
We also assist those who have been displaced by job loss to help them create new careers based on their experience, talents and passions that are relevant to today's job market. We are dedicated to helping assist people in becoming independent financially and living out their passions as well as being able to provide for themselves financially.
Additional services Sophie's Dream provides is to teach people independent and socializing life skills including special needs, those with disabilities and those who just didn't have the opportunities to know how to live independently by having a job, paying rent, cooking, etc.
